Understanding the various Manufacturer Names:

Escorts: 

Is a Huge chain of Companies with diversified interests. Their group manufacturers Motorcycles with Yamaha (Two and Four Stroke), Tractors, and a whole slew of other products and services. They even have their own Brand of Motorcycles called the Rajdoot. In India the RD350 was called the Rajdoot 350. So if a part says Yamaha / Rajdoot it is an original part made by a joint venture company between Escorts and Yamaha. In cases where the Quality of the parts made do not match up to Yamaha standards they are imported from Yamaha and sold as Escorts Yamaha  parts.

OEM:

There are a number of local Manufacturers who make specialized parts for various vehicles. Some have small setups. Some have mulit-million dollar setups. We check to ensure Quality of these products before selling them. Because frankly some of them make lousy products and some make better than Original Products. In some cases Like Diamond and Roll-on who make Chains. Their products are so good that they are original fitment on new bikes being sold here.

Genuine Yamaha:

When the Bike is first introduced into the market. Yamaha floods the market with Original Parts imported from Japan. This is a stop gap measure until they can get the parts made locally. Or with collaboration with their Country Partner.  We have a large stock of thee parts. Another route is we import parts from Singapore when we cant locate parts in India.
