Introduction:

The outcome of over 3 years of development and testing. Probably the worlds first Digital Programmable CDI that has been designed from the ground up for a Multi cylinder engine like the RD. Unlike other units that are designed for single cylinder engines. This means there are two complete CDI circuits in our box. By giving each engine its own capacitor and circuit you can see the advantages at high RPMs.

A complete in-house effort means we have total control over the hardware and software. The kit can be modified for single or multi cylinder engines.

Elimination of the wasted spark.

Some Digital Units only allow you to change your timing in one direction. If anybody has seen a two stroke curve you know control over timing in both directions is required. This kit gives you that freedom.

Removal of wasted spark means you can run two seprate HT coils and still have an exceptionally strong spark all the way to 13000 RPM.

Switch that allows you to select bands. A popular request is to provide a curve and static mode switch able on the move with a switch.

Can turn on or off or trigger any external motor at any RPM. Possible applications include water pump, Chamber pump. Exup port. Air Shifter, power valve etc etc.

Power output too HT coils is explosive and cant be matched by any other CDI. As you can see its actually two CDI units on one board. We have eliminated the wasted spark. Energy from the wasted spark is stored and fired at the right time. Doubling the output.

Kit can be pre-programmed with a wide selection off curves. RZ, TZ250 E,F,G TZ350 and various other CDIs. Vast selection of curves to chose from the database.

The CDI can be used on any bike. And will help boost power or mileage for any bike. i.e. can be used on RX,RXG,Shogun etc. Single or dual cylinder. You do need a pulsar though either internal or external will work.

Our prime objective was to support customers of our earlier kits. This took some doing but we have achieved it. If you are an existing customer. You can upgrade to this C.D.I. 

Update: (Oct-2006)

We have since released this CDI with many changes for the RZ350 YPVS and the TZR250 1KT / 2MA.

Its going to be a decade now of us making and selling thousands of CDIs. In this time we have learnt one thing. Just changing the curve without boosting the spark strength by increasing the voltage sent out to the HT coil. Your only going to see half the story. With two strokes that have a YPVS controller the wasted spark idea didn't work out. So we had to find a way to increase spark strength. With our wasted spark trick out of the question this was a real challenge. How do you double the output from your source coils. We tried everything nut nothing really worked. We tried rewinding the source coils. We tried adding more source coils. 

In the end we achieved 500 volts by developing a complete new CDI using the latest in ferrite core technology. Very efficient. MSD Car style spark strength while running on a bike bat. The CDI has a miniature transformer that takes 12 Volts d/c from your bat. And then converts this into 400-600 volts a/c to charge your cap. This gives you a spark strength unmatched by anything out there. Better spark benefits are easy to see. You can run larger jets, burn the fuel better and see the increase in power on the Dyno.
